The gorilla family is in the Great Apes. It is part of a big group of animals called Primates.

Gorillas are the biggest kind of ape.

Even though they are big and sort of look scary, they are very gentle.

Gorillas eat different food.They eat fruit, tree bark, and bamboo plants.
